We came across this gem of a place by accident and I was a little bit hesitant at first, the interior looked divine and the food looked so tasty. Its tucked nicely away in Coolmine industrial estate close to the blanchardstown shopping centre. Its definitely worth a visit and food comes in huge portions so you may be taking some home with you like myself.
What can I say this is an ultimate favourite of mine and i’ve been going here ever since they opened back in 2014. A mediterranean style restaurant with influence from Italy. Interior has a touch of a traditional feel and layout is incredible. Staff are highly trained, well mannered and are always very busy but still very attentive. Last but not least the most important , the food! Great value for money and there’s something for everyone even the fussiest of eaters. Couldn’t be any more family friendly so it’s a big thumbs up from us.
Newbarn Farm is a family run business in Ashbourne Co.Meath. William and Yvonne Ruiter opened Newbarn Farm shop in 2004 after growing vegetables for nearly 40 years and then with success of that they opened The Donkey Shed restaurant in 2011. This is definitely a great family spot especially with young kids. They have a small farm with animals and a lovely walkway close to the restaurant and shop which is great to occupy the kids either before or after your meal. There is a real sense of relaxation there and countryside vibes yet still not too far from Dublin airport.
Did you know that Avoca started of as a hand waving mill back in 1723 in an Irish rural village? This is what makes it so special not to mention the amazing garden and florists. The restaurant has plenty of quirky spots to eat depending on your mood. Really fresh quality food and you can pop into the retail store to have a look at the most amazing soaps, clothing, ceramics and so much more. It’s a really nice day out or just to pick up a present for someone or yourself, you are bound to find something special.
Award winning Wrights cafe bar located in Swords, Dublin goes down a treat. We have been here quite a few times in the last year and its always been a pleasure. Food is so tasty and staff are great with the kids. Which reminds me, kids meals are free on Sundays , how amazing is that? Definitely a place to stop for food or a drink if your in the area.
We always leave the best til last and I may be biased because I started off in Nandos in Blanchardstown 7 years ago. It’s still a huge favourite of mine and judging by the amount of meals I ate here , you can definitely trust me. Each restaurant is unique because of its interior style and staff are trained by the best. Its a recommended family friendly spot and you can find plenty of restaurants all over Ireland now.
